Providence Oregon Regional Laboratory Services is seeking an initiative-taking Pathologist/Clinical Microbiologist to serve as the Medical Director of Clinical Microbiology. This position will provide leadership for the centralized microbiology laboratory with extension to eight hospital-based labs in the Providence Oregon region. The successful applicant will provide medical and technical direction for the lab and will be highly involved in consultation with infection disease physicians. This individual will be a subject matter expert for regional infection prevention and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives and will be a spokesperson for infectious disease testing at the Providence system level.
