The Cancer Center is home to state-of-the-art diagnostics such as PET, CT, MRI, genetic testing, and stereotactic breast biopsy. The Cancer Center provides highly personalized cancer treatment in a comfortable, outpatient setting with free parking for patients as well as staff. The Cancer Center offers paid Oncology certification as well as promotes multiple opportunities for continuing education. This position does not require working weekends, call, or major holidays.

Qualifications include:

• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program
• BSN
• Current Texas RN licensure and BCLS
• 2+ years of clinical RN experience
• 1+ year of Hematology/Oncology experience and/or related
• ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Fundamentals of Administration or ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course within 3 months of employment
• Completion annually of 10 CEUs related to Oncology
• OCN certification within 36 months of employment or 3 attempts (whichever comes first).
• Ambulatory experience preferred.
• Able to use mechanical devices, such as those used in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy.
