SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to meet with clinical simulation center clients to determine the best mode of simulation to meet objectives and expectations, including; design scenarios, programming, and case planning. Coordinate and maintain simulation center and audio/visual systems, as well as, coordinate and manage information technology assets of the Center and be the primary Information Services liaison between the two departments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in a health science field, information technology, or related curriculum required

2 years of experience in Computer Simulation or Technical Services required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of AV production including recording, distribution, editing, and archiving required

Knowledge of computer networking operations required

Ability to work with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook required

Excellent interpersonal communication skills required

Proficiency with common medical terminology required

Ability to troubleshoot technological problems required

Excellent problem solving abilities required

Ability to work effectively with diverse groups or people required

Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent written communication skills preferred

Prior healthcare provider experience preferred

Experience in simulation technology and operations preferred

Prior experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred
