JOB SUMMARY: The Lead Rapid Response Team Nurse (LRRTN) serves as the frontrunner of the multi-disciplinary team and coordinates the execution of rapid response system encompassing detection, activation, response, assessment and stabilization, disposition and evaluation. The LRRTN facilitates and responds to Rapid Response and Code Blue activations and Sepsis Alerts. The LRRTN operates under the guidelines of the Rapid Response Team/Code Blue Team/Sepsis Alert standardized procedures. The LRRTN facilitates team huddles, debriefings and evaluation of the rapid response system, structure and process.
