We are a small, busy dermpath lab looking for a reliable, friendly, hardworking, and detail oriented histotech for a full time position. The successful candidate will have a
current ASCP certification (HT/HTL), or be registry eligible. A minimum of 1
year experience with skin specimens, IHC and excellent histology skills is
preferred, but not required. Job duties include performing basic histology
tasks such as, but not limited to processing, embedding, cutting and
staining skin specimens at the highest level of quality in an efficient
manner, send out testing, and QA/QC tasks.

The preferred hours for this position will be Tuesday through Saturday 4:00 am -.12:30
pm. However, we would be willing to explore different scheduling options for qualified applicants.

* ASCP certification (HT/HTL) preferred, or registry eligible
* 1 years laboratory experience preferred, but not required
* IHC experience preferred, but not required
* Ability to cut and embed small biopsy specimens efficiently
* Good interpersonal skills
* Self direction in a fast paced environment
