Provide episodic, preventive, and acute health care to newborns, infants, children and adolescents. Perform a variety of duties such as medical history intake, physician examinations, sport physicals, ADHD/ADD management, circumcisions, well childcare and immunizations, treating childhood injuries and illnesses, and monitoring chronic diseases.
Practice Locations: Durango and Wigwam Pediatrics
Collaborative team-based approach
Work schedule is 4/10s
Daily outpatient consensus is 30 -40 a day
Nursery Rounding: 1-3 days per week at the hospitals
Nursery hospital call
Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada MD or DO license
Current Nevada DEA certificate and Pharmacy license required prior to start date
BC or BE in Pediatrics (if Board Eligible must take certification exam within twelve months of date of hire)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) must be obtained and maintained
Fluent or Medical Spanish- speaking ability The ability to perform circumcisions
