Public Health Nurse
The professional Public Health Nurse for the Family Support Program is a unique, relationship-based, public health nursing role which requires the nurse to establish and maintain a trusting therapeutic relationship with each client, throughout all phases of the program. The nurse assesses the physical, emotional, social, and environmental needs of the family and provides health education, referrals, and case management. This position fosters a relationship between nurse and client as a basis for proactive change. This role works with families referred by Department of Human Services.Generally, the hiring range is $68,227-$85,284 annually.
