Job Summary
Promotes and maintains the mental and social health of employees through assessment, teaching and counseling. Oversees programs to support the social and emotional needs of our employee population. This role will specifically focus on relationships with employees of the health system, including but not limited to providers, nurses, and support staff.
Job Duties
- Counsels employees that are experiencing emotional exhaustion, trauma, burnout, grief, loss, or other personal crises.
- Creates a safe space for employees to share emotional challenges and partners to create strategies for well-being improvement.
- Acts as the clinical subject matter expert for several programs within the Center for Professionalism and Well-Being.
- Supervises, orients, and trains all assigned personnel.
- Acts as resource to answer questions and resolve problems.
- Provides intervention to minimize the impact of stress and trauma on overall emotional well-being.
- Comfortable responding to urgent emotional crises as they arise.
- Seeks clarification of information as needed and follows up on outstanding information that impacts final plans and referrals needed.
- Educates employees on applicable resources to meet their needs.
- Works collaboratively with employee and the multi-disciplinary team at the Center for Professionalism and Well-Being to ensure all appropriate resource referrals are made and followed up on.

Position Details
*Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
