Research Scientist 4 (Epidemiology or Biostatistics)
The Research Scientist 4 will engage in research and data analysis activities supporting New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) chronic disease prevention and control initiatives. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the Student Weight Status Category Reporting System, a surveillance system for measuring obesity in school age children and adolescents. The incumbent will oversee and coordinate between the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System, Electronic Health Record surveillance projects as well as cannabis, tobacco, alcohol surveillance systems/programs and other behavioral risk factor surveillance as needed.
