Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Secretary/Technician for the Endoscopy Suite at Overlook Medical Center, to work 8AM-4PM, including every other weekend.
The Perioperative/Endoscopy services Unit Secretary - Technician candidate must have exceptional communication, organizational and customer service skills.
The ideal candidate will have hospital or related experience and assist the Endoscopy clinical care team with quality care for elective/emergent surgical patients.
The Sec/Tech will efficiently assist the Endoscopy clinical care team in a fast-paced setting, while placing a high priority on safety, customer service and infection prevention.
Computer skills including Microsoft Word
High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
Minimum Experience Required:
Prior Administrative and/or patient care experience in health care. Demonstrate effective communication skills with patients, families, team members, and physicians. Ensure patient/family expectations are exceeded with exceptional customer service and quality patient care.

Comply with hospital policies, protocols and procedures. Attend department and Unit Rep/PCT meetings, complete all necessary training, maintain competencies and participate in quality improvement projects.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to push/pull/lift to 35lbs.
Must be able to tolerate long periods of standing and /or walking
