The Outcomes Improvement (OI) Rep 2 is an important leader of Baylor Scott & White Health's (BSWH) strategies. Serves as a leader on the OI team performing high level analysis, service, and education to clinic and OI team. Oversees team members, leads system programs, committees, and positively impacts clinic performance and workflows.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
Serves as a lead on the OI Team. Advocates for OI team, frontline team, and patients. Acts as a subject matter expert in programs and policies. Creates training and job aids for OI team members.
Collaborates with OI, clinical, operational, system, and frontline team members. Participates in committees and subcommittees. Understands different points of view, fosters trust, relationships, communication to help create a Culture of Safety within the team and with others.
Leads and participates in departmental, organizational, and system-wide programs, committees, and special projects to achieve target outcomes. Collaborates with other departments and leaders to ensure provision of safe, quality, compassionate healthcare.
Integrates knowledge of system mission, goals, and processes into team members and strategies. Prioritizes competing demands and takes effective action. Navigates multiple workstreams, projects, and programs to identify priorities and opportunities for collaboration.
Analyzes reports and develops summaries to present data findings in a professional, concise, and readable format appropriate for content and audience. Documents and trains processes and logic applied in reporting. Performs consistent quality review of data and report results.
Oversees and helps manage OI team members including training, monitoring workload without micromanaging, conflict resolution, team meetings, provides input on performance, helps implement performance improvement, when needed.
May provide onsite and remote support to assist with standard and best practice workflows to provide efficient and quality care for patients. Balances the goals of the customer and clinic team members with the larger strategic vision of BSWH to drive results. May participate in onboarding new clinic members to best practice workflows and concepts. May be pulled to frontline role at discretion of leadership
