DescriptionThe Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) assists the Occupational Therapist in the care of the adult and geriatric persons who are acutely ill and have medically complex needs, which result in mobility and activities of daily living deficits. The COTA assists the Occupational Therapist implementation of a treatment plan, monitors effectiveness of the treatment plan, and recommends needed changes.
