Research Specialist Intermediate - Otolaryngology
he Department Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia seeks a master’s prepared (preferred) individual to serve as a research specialist. The position seeks an individual with strong analytic skills and excellent oral and written communication. The ideal candidate has the ability to manage research projects, coordinate and oversee research regulatory requirements, apply for extramural funding, review scientific literature, plan research studies, manage databases, and analyze research data for publication and presentation. Knowledge and familiarity with statistical research software (SAS/STATA/SPSS/R, Access, Redcap, etc.) is preferred.
