DescriptionSUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: To perform electroencephalographs (EEG), evoked potentials (EP), neurotelemetry, video/EEG monitoring, ambulatory monitoring, routine topographic brain mapping studies, multiple sleep latency test (MSLT), in the laboratory and at the bedside of patients.REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIESPerform EEGsTo measure impulse frequencies and differences in electrical potential between areas of the brain using an EEG in order to obtain data used in diagnosing brain disorders in infants, children, & adolescents.Job knowledge/skills acquisitionAcquire skills for basic to moderately complex neurodiagnostic testing procedures.
