Summary Responsible for overall report transcription and office functions of the Pathology Department. Maintains excellent organization and communication skills in dealing with physicians, patients, public, and members of the hospital staff where assertive, but tactful demeanor is required. Maintains confidential files of correspondence and statistical reports and documents relative to operation and prepares confidential correspondence for the Medical Director with minimal direction. Performs and fulfills all HICS (Hospital Incident Command System) responsibilities as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency disaster.
