Registered Nurse-Infection Prevention
The Infection Prevention RN is responsible for practicing within the scope of practice that is population-based. Relevant public health issues are integrated into practice, specialized care and consultation to individuals and populations on risk management. Activities may include collaborating and reviewing the quality and effectiveness of a program designed to identify, reduce, and prevent health-care associated infections caused by multi-drug resistant organisms (MDRO). Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
