Job Summary: Responsible for the coordination of air and ground transport requests, which may come from hospitals or the 911 service, to facilitate rapid and safe transfer which requires the ability to synthesize data and information from multiple different sources at the same time. Daily activities also include active flight following for each aircraft and ground unit while in the transport environment and the billing and initial coding for Helicopter Transport, Fixed Wing Transport, and Ground Critical Care Transport completed by Benefis programs.
