Public Health Analyst -- Gun Violence Prevention
The Violence Policy Center (VPC), a national gun violence prevention organization, is seeking a part-time public health analyst to aid in our research and publishing activities. Founded in 1988, the VPC is a national 501(c)3 nonprofit public interest organization that approaches gun violence as a broad-based public health issue affecting all Americans, as opposed to solely a crime issue, with a strong focus on holding the firearms industry accountable for its role in driving our nation’s gun violence crisis. The VPC conducts unique ongoing research on gun violence, the firearms industry and gun lobby, and develops effective approaches to reduce gun death and injury.
