Infection Preventionist - Registered Nurse
The Infection Prevention Practitioner (IPP) is a Registered Nurse who demonstrates leadership in the development, implementation, and coordination of infection control policies, procedures, and activities throughout the Syracuse VA Medical Center and its affiliated programs. The IPP is directly accountable to the Associate Director Patient/Nursing Services. He/she is accountable for writing and adhering to established policies, standards of care and standards of practice.
