HUD-VASH Licensed Practical Nurse
The HUD-VASH LPN provides supportive services and complex care for Veterans enrolled in the VA homeless program. The HUD-VASH program provides a Housing First model of care, and the Veteran population served may experience chronic/recurrent homelessness, active substance abuse, have complex medical needs and/or mental illness. The LPN helps Veterans in the program with housing in their community of choice, via the provision of age appropriate medical and psychiatric assistive care. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Education: Graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and/or accredited by the National Leagu
