Medical Instrument Tech (Ultrasound/Sonography)
The technologist works in the diagnostic ultrasound section and performs highly technical evaluation of the ultrasound imaging sub specialties, these include: abdominal, pelvic, thorax, breast, thyroid, parotid, prostate, scrotum, kidneys, aorta, and iliac, neurologic, gynecologic and venous vascular systems. Independently performs standard examinations, through knowledge of both normal and abnormal human anatomy. This position is located at the Gainesville, FL VAMC. BASIC REQUIREMENTS a. Citizenship.
