The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) is seeking a Dean of Public Health. Now more than ever, public health research is needed to identify disease patterns, risk factors, and health outcomes, and to develop and implement interventions to treat and prevent disease and improve overall health, in our local, national, and international communities. Public health research is also essential to inform and optimize health policies—to help governments and other organizations make informed decisions about how to allocate resources and prioritize health interventions.
