Learn more at www.multicarejobs.orgPosition Summary:Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist is generally responsible for three pre-analytical functions: patient registration and order entry, phlebotomy, and specimen processing. The percentage of time spent in each of these functions will vary with location. The Lab Assistant/Phlebotomist may also be responsible for specimen pick-up, report sorting and delivery, supply delivery, and other tasks related to the operation of the specific location. This is a high-visibility position with primarily inpatient and outpatient (in the hospital environment)
