Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Dietetic Assistant for the Food Service Department at Newton Medical Center to work 7am-5pm including every other weekend. Responsibilities Essential Function/Responsibilities:Maintains standards of the Food Service Department clinical program and those set by the hospital, the New Jersey Department of Health and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals.Visits patients on a daily basis and obtains food preferences and allergies.Consults with patients relating to food preferences, food allergies, menu selections and meal service.Orients patients to food service Policies and Procedures.Collects menus on a daily basis, assisting patients with selections if need
