Entry-level position with the Affiliate Affairs department and APHA’s Alliance for Disease Prevention and Response. Coordinating logistics for Affiliate activities, working to help facilitate and monitor policy and advocacy efforts around public health in the states, planning and managing National Public Health Week (NPHW) tools and events and building a strong network of state and local public health associations across the country. This is a grant-funded position guaranteed through August 31, 2024, with possibility to continue contingent on grant funding. Affiliate Affairs: Support APHA’s Affiliate member organizations and their leaders through scheduling and helping to plan annual training provided to new Affiliate leaders in Washington, D.C.,
