Nurse Practitioner- Oncology
Job DescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Under the general supervision, this role assists in the delivery of patient care services for the adult oncology patient population. In conjunction with national oncology guidelines (NCCN, NCI, ASCO, etc.) and Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) standards of care, the Nurse Practitioner will provide, monitor and coordinate care of the oncology patient within the cancer center which may include the physician practice setting, infusion center, or inpatient unit, as directed. This role assists in oncology nursing education, professional development, training and competencies, and the development of policies, procedures, and the program.
