Instrument Tech Sterile Processing PMC/ Full-Time
DescriptionPerforms instrument processing activities, decontamination, assembly, sterilization (steam and plasma) and restocking of instruments to remote locations to insure availability to areas providing direct patient care. Ensures that personal performance and service quality levels meet or exceed customer expectations and perceptions.RequirementsEDUCATION: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Completion of medical terminology after hire.CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Working to obtain national certification encouraged.SKILLS: Operation of ultrasonic washer, steam autoclave, washer-sterilizer and washer-decontaminator preferred.EXPERIENCE: Instrument processing experience preferred.NATURE OF SUPERV
