Penn State Health is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Coordinator Registered Nurse in the outpatient Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Clinic responsible for coordinating the timely, efficient, and effective movement of head and neck cancer patients into, though, and out of patient care systems. This position will also serve in management and supervisory capacities as a role model, manager, consultant, collaborator, educator, and clinician. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a multidisciplinary oncology team.
Our goal is to provide the best, multispecialty care for patients and their loved ones as we manage their difficult diagnosis of head and neck cancer. In this position, you will provide care management through all phases of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and surveillance. As part of our commitment to patient care, we actively lead various annual outreach and fundraising events. These include the Highmark Community Walk, Sporting Clay Shoot, and free head and neck cancer screenings. Additionally, the Head and Neck Cancer Support Group offers patients a space to develop connections and receive support from other patients and caregivers. As the Clinical Coordinator Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with the support group and contribute to outreach and fundraising initiatives.
The Division of Head and Neck Oncology and Surgery sees over 500 new cancer patients on average per year, providing collaborative care with neurosurgery, dermatology and Mohs surgeons, plastic surgery, oculoplastic surgery, medical oncology, and radiation oncology.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for coordinating the timely, efficient and effective movement of patients into, through and out of patient care systems. Serves in management and supervisory capacities as a role model, manager, consultant, collaborator, educator, and clinician.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Â
Bachelor's degree in nursing required.Â
Three (3) years of nursing experience required. Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact required.
