Position Summary
The Administrative Intern program is a preceptor-directed learning experience to nurture and develop health care leaders by providing real world hospital management and administrative experience within MultiCare in Tacoma, WA. The Administrative Intern position will learn about system-wide hospital and ambulatory administration through a project in operations, strategy, finance, etc. This is generally a 10-to-12-week, full-time, temporary position with benefits, with a start date in May/June. The Intern will be offered opportunities to observe leadership at various levels within the entire health system, including observing and participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings and discussions.
Requirements
Graduate students between the first and second year of their masterâs education; They are typically enrolled in a MHA, MHSA, MSHA, MBA, MPH or MSN program
Minimum six (6) months prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred (e.g. internships, rotation(s) or clinical experience)
