This leadership position works alongside the Director of the Environmental Health Services Division to support all aspects of managing the division with a primary focus on optimizing the effectiveness of administrative functions including human resources, continuous improvement and process development, fiscal management, customer service, procurement/contracts, information technology, and labor management.The Deputy Director is also responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and guiding the implementation of organizational planning projects. This position oversees the legislative work plan, including the King County Board of Health rules and regulations development work.
