The Cardiac Sonographer performs diagnostic echocardiograms/stress tests abiding by all rules, policies and procedures with Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical center, state, local and federal mandates. He/she performs diagnostic procedures according to the patient's needs through the attending physician's request. A high degree of proficiency, accuracy and customer service skills are required to provide excellent service to the customer base in an on-going consistent manner while exercising good judgment in performance of procedures and providing good patient care.Â
High School Diploma or equivalentÂ
Must be ARDMS or CCI registered or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must be registered within 1 year of start dateÂ
