This incumbent serves as the Physician Assistant Medical Officer of the Day within the Specialty Medicine Service Line and functions within an interdisciplinary staff consisting of physicians, nurses, technicians, administrative and clerical staff. The incumbent is responsible for and accountable for ensuring the provision of comprehensive inpatient care and complies with established policies within the Department of Medicine Service Line. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
