3 West is a 24-bed medical surgical unit for patients 0-21 years of age. This unit is designated for orthopedic patients, patients in need of comprehensive rehabilitation and acute rehabilitation of both traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury, ventilator-dependent patients, and patients with tracheotomies. Additional patient populations include neurosurgical and nonsurgical neurology, and infants transitioning from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Neurology and neurosurgical patients are also cared for on 3 West.
