The Nurse Educator (NE) is a skilled professional who is able to work independently to optimize patient care, patient safety and operational efficiency. She/he possesses the knowledge and skills to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting to facilitate the effective care of patients.
