The Wound Care Nurse (Pressure Injury Prevention Coordinator) serves as a advisor and wound care nurse. He/She serves as a consultant for complex wound, skin, drainage and/or ostomy problems in the Community Living Center. The nurse is responsible for planning, coordinating, providing, and evaluating care for groups of Veterans in various programs within CLC; he/she needs to demonstrate advanced competencies in providing staff education and training for wound care. Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English. Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the fo
