RN (PRN-Level 1) Mother/Baby
SUMMARY: Under direction of the department nurse director, provides care to the obstetrical and neonatal patient during the postpartum phase of pregnancy. During the post-partum phase, provides assessments and care of the postpartum patient and neonate, provides education to the mother on care, feeding and security of the infant. Assures that the patient and infant are prepared for discharge. EXPERIENCE: One year of labor and birth or mother-baby care preferred. OTHER: Basic Computer Skills. LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) Preferred: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Nursing
