RN (Periph Nerve Block Prgm) Main Pre-Op
SUMMARY: The Peripheral Nerve Block Program Registered Nurse is responsible for the planning and implementation of care for the patient receiving peripheral nerve blocks for postoperative pain management. The RN will be a member of the anesthesia and surgical team ensuring quality pain care. EXPERIENCE: 1 year telemetry EXPERIENCE: previous PREOP/PACU/PAIN Clinic experience preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS: Intravenous therapy OTHER: Basic computer skills LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) Preferred: CAPA (Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse), CPAN (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse), RN-C (Registered Nurse Certified) EDUCATION
