This position is for a Peds Acute Care NP with pediatric nephrology to assist children experiencing kidney disease. This position will see patients in the acute care setting as well as the outpatient clinic setting.
*This is one APP position that will be filled as PA or NP.
- Successful completion of a Master's Degree or higher in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a specialty in Pediatrics, Acute Care - Required
- CA NP, NPF, and RN license - Required
- DEA License with Schedule II - Required
- National Certification in Nurse Practitioner Specialty as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner- Required
- BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - Required
- PALS from American Heart Association- Required
- One year of pediatric nephrology experience strongly preferred.
- Will consider new grad NPs with a minimum 2 years of pediatric ICU experience.
- NP1 (less than 6 months NP experience) : $76.51/ hourly
- Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs- Required
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical and academic personnel-Required
- Skill in working independently and following through with minimum direction-Required
- Ability to set priorities-Required
- Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed and grammatically correct correspondence-Required
