As a Histology Tech (histotechnologist or histologic technician) laboratory professional, you will be responsible for performance of all levels of routine testing within the histology laboratory. This role will provide a high level of technical knowledge and application of that knowledge to department testing and clinical relevance. In this position you will consistently function in a self-directed manner and exhibits complex problem solving skills.
Your Histologic Technician Day Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00am-11:30am
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Histology Technician candidates will need the following:
Previous professional experience, preferred
High School Diploma or GED required
HT, HTL with ASCP certification or registry eligible, certification required within 6 months of hire
Physical Requirements-Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)
