Job SummaryThe Patient Care Assistant II (PCA II) is accountable for supporting patient care activities, under the supervision of a registered nurse, on inpatient nursing units. The PCA II works closely with the charge nurse and staff nurses to assure patient care needs are met. The PCA II performs patient care activities, as delegated, and adheres to patient safety measures. The PCA II is proficient in the performance of basic patient care activities, medical terminology, communication, organizational, and computer skills. The PCA II demonstrates and role models personal and professional effectiveness.Minimum QualificationsEducation: High School diploma or or GED plus technical skills/training app
