Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician
In 2011, The University of Minnesota opened a new, state-of-the-art, 227,000-square-foot pediatric facility. The University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital has capacity for 207 patients and includes a full-service pediatric emergency department. Our Emergency Department has been rapidly growing for the last several years, and currently treats over 23,000 children annually, including many high complexity and high acuity patients, with an overall admission rate of approximately 20%.
