DescriptionSummary:Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager and the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, the surgery attendant performs tasks assisting and facilitating efficient patient flow and safe patient care in the unit.Responsibilities:Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.Transports patients and equipment using appropriate standard precautions. Cleans and makes ready beds, stretchers and wheelchairs for patient transfer. Presents self to other staff, patients, families and visitors in a warm, receptive manner.
