BH Licensed Clinician LCSW - Behavioral Health Services
OverviewThe BH Licensed Clinician (BHLC) is responsible for the provision of mental health and substance use services at WakeMed. via in person and tele assessments. The BHLC provides emergency Psychiatric and Substance use clinical assessments, diagnoses patients using DSM-5, ICD10-codes, offers appropriate crisis intervention/supportive counseling/social work interventions, and responds to ED BHRTs. Focuses on diagnostic and functional evaluations, safety assessments, patient engagement and or support system effectiveness. Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team including physicians, psychiatry and psychology staff. Decides and communicates disposition and level of care. This includes facilitating voluntary and involuntary commitments as directed by the
