Surgical Technologist II-FT/Evening -Operating Room (Ben Taub Hospital)
The Surgical Technologist II (ST II) assists the surgical team in operative procedures utilizing proper aseptic technique. The ST II has current knowledge of equipment, suture, and procedures being performed. The ST II demonstrates personal and professional effectiveness. Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent. Graduation from an accredited educational program for surgical technologists. Certified as a Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or the National Center for Competency Testing. Current CPR certification.
