SUMMARY: SUMMARY: Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician IV Infusion Services position is responsible for ensuring efficient flow of patients through the infusion practice setting by facilitating examinations and treatment of patients while exhibiting exceptional customer service. The position will perform a variety of medication duties related to the procurement, preparation, distribution and storage of infusion-based medication use; as well as, assisting with ambulatory clinic services according to pharmacy's role in ensuring safe medication use. This role will communicate and work effectively with patients and various members of the healthcare team including clinical support staff and providers.
