Prescription Refill Nurse (LVN) Call Center, Full-Time, Days and rotation of weekends
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Medication Refill Nurse processes prescription refill requests as clinically appropriate for patients within PIH Health. Reviews medical records to ensure refills are applicable according to practitioners’ orders and established protocols. Identifies potential issues with medication adherence and takes necessary steps to address them such as contacting patients and practitioners. Ensures accuracy in documenting medication refills within the patient’s medical record. Responsible for educating the caller regarding PIH Health’s medication refill policies and procedures utilizing knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices, ethics, and concepts.
