Under the supervision of the Patient Accounting Insurance Follow up Manager this is a Supervisor position responsible for performing billing, collections and follow up for the Commercial, Medi-Cal and Medi-Cal Managed Care lines of business and involves specialized background, analytical skills and knowledge regarding claims processing rules, regulatory guidelines. Performs account audit, complex research and analysis to ensure timely payments of inpatient and outpatient hospital bills in accordance with the government rules and regulations. Must understand and adhere to recovery regulations mandated by AB1455, CMS, DHCS, and DMHC. Identification of appropriate write-offs, accurate resolution of all credit balance
