Job DescriptionGeneral SummaryUnder limited supervision of the Sergeant and Security Manager, using a customer service orientation, provides security, safety, and acts in an assistant leadership capacity to security personnel for the safety and security of patients, visitors and staff on the University of Maryland Medical System campus. May provide shuttle/escort service to visitors and staff to locations within the Medical System campus. Provides leadership and guidance to security officers when the Sergeant is scheduled off or when the Sergeant is working but unable to provide leadership and direction to security officers due to assignments or other calls for service.
