What you will do as a Peri-Anesthesia RN:

• Develop and initiate plan of patient care using an outcomes based approach ensuring application of age related growth and development principles.
• Coordinate, oversee, deliver, and delegate nursing care based on patient assessment/standards of care
• Direct, evaluate, and supervise the work of assistive personnel in providing delegated nursing services and development principles.
• Document, reassess and alter plan of care based on patient's response to nursing interventions on an ongoing basis.
• Collaborate with other health care team members, patient and family members to determine necessary resources and provide continuity of patient care.
• Communicate pertinent patient data to other members of the health care team in a timely fashion.
• Performs other duties required by supervisor

What you will need:

• Current Minnesota RN Licensure, ACLS certification
• 3 years' experience in caring for surgical patients.
• IV Conscious Sedation Competency, EPIC
• Successful experience establishing an environment of collaborative patient-centered care for surgical patients.
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

Schedule: 0.5 FTE

Location: M Health Fairview Clinic and Surgery Center Ambulatory Surgery Center - 909 Fulton St. SE Minneapolis, MN 55455

Hours: 0.5 FTE. 20 hours per week
