Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington.

Responsibilities

The Geoff Hill Lab, in Seattle's Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center Translational Science & Therapeutics Division, is recruiting a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with expertise in transplant immunology and/or immunotherapy. The candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple NIH funded research programs, including studies defining the mechanisms of cancer-specific immunity versus immune escape and pathogen-specific immunity after adoptive cell therapy. There are also active programs defining mechanisms of, and innovative treatment paradigms for immune toxicity (e.g. graft-versus-host disease and cytokine release syndrome) after stem cell transplantation and adoptive cell therapy.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• MD or PhD in a related field
• A strong foundation in immunology and cell biology
• A track record of productive research

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Expertise in cellular immunology and a background in bone marrow/stem cell transplantation and/or immunotherapy

The annual base salary range for this position is from $77,976 to $95,014.40 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance. Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center offers employees a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance health, well-being, and financial security.
